The successful Lancashire Golf County Academy Programme is the gateway to the county's talent development pathway, providing support for many of Lancashire's aspiring young golfers. The County Academy Programme is a stepping stone, creating the opportunity for talented boys to transition into the County Performance Squads and beyond.

The academy programme is designed for boys who are showing an ever-increasing commitment towards developing their game. It provides 20 hours of structured coaching with highly experienced PGA golf coaches. Small coaching groups based around individual and group sessions target the key skills for assisting committed boys achieve their golfing potential.

The academy programme is designed to complement a young player's current development and not replace training with their home coach/club. To get the most from the programme and training sessions, all boys will need to be fully committed and practice newly learnt skills when they return to their home clubs.
