The Lancashire team completed their 4th match of the season with a very comprehensive away victory against Durham at the picturesque Tyneside Golf Club. Having won the morning foursomes matches 4 - 2 the team put in a very strong afternoon singles performance to complete a 13.5 - 4.5 victory, The final match of the season will be against Northumberland at Hurlston Hall on Sunday 3rd October. Although the team can't win the league (Yorkshire have already achieved that) they are keen to finish second and a victory in the final match will secure this.

The Lancashire Boys Under 16 team finished the season at Ellesmere Golf Club with match against Cheshire Under 16 Boys. A good morning performance saw the team take a deserved 2.5 to 1.5 lead going into the afternoon singles. But the Cheshire team won the first 5 singles matches in the afternoon. Good wins from Tom Davies and James O'Toole couldn't prevent a final score of 7.5 to 4.5 to Cheshire. Good experience for the boys and we're they'll be all the better for it next year.
