We're Hiring! Boys Team Manager

The position of boys team manager is a voluntary one although it offers a very rewarding experience, helping our your players grow and develop as both golfers and people.

We are looking for someone to lead our boys team, which will be the under 18's, who will also work with the boys U16&U14 teams manager. You will be required to travel with the U18 team to matches, both home and away, of which there are five per year in the Northern Counties League, plus select the team and liaise with the parents to ensure all arrangements are communicated. Additionally, you will be asked to attend the Northern Counties Qualifying round, and potentially national finals should we qualify, as well as the four counties tournament in April. You are also welcome to attend the U16, mixed age matches to help or to watch the team.

Team development coaching sessions are also held every winter and it may be useful for you to attend these as well. In addition to seeing the team develop, you can also take advantage of listening to the coaching and maybe help your own game!

Travel expenses will be paid in accordance with the county expenses policy.

You will be required to have a current DBS check, and to have completed the appropriate SPC1 safeguarding course, which can be done online via zoom and takes about three hours. Both of these will be paid for by the county.

If you are interested and would like more information, please contact Stuart Leech, CEO, on ceo@lancashiregolf.org or call the office on 01772 731330.
