Notice of General Meetings and Unification Resolution Voting

Information has now been sent out to all clubs in the county regarding the LLCGA SGM and LUGC AGM & SGM to be held at Preston GC from 11.00am on Tuesday March 5th. The resolutions include voting upon the unification of the LLCGA and LUGC and clubs can either vote in person at the meeting, through their nominated representative, by nominating a proxy to vote on their behalf of by casting their vote by e-mail to secretary@lancashiregolf.org. 

This is potentially a historic and landmark time for the county and there are many benefits to unification which have already been published. England Golf are very supportive of the potential unification and Lancashire is one of the most progressive counties in the UK for taking this action. 

Our aim as a unified organisation is to offer continually enhancing support to our clubs and to grow the game of golf in Lancashire. We are committed to achieving both of these objectives for the benefit of everyone in the county.
