County team finish season on a high

The Lancashire County team finished their league season with a comprehensive victory over a young, inexperienced Northumberland team in this rearranged fixture at Hurlston Hall Golf Club. The foursomes saw the team enjoy a 5-1 morning lead and this was followed up with an equally convincing set of results in the afternoon singles matches 9.5 to 2.5. The final match result was 14.5 to 3.5 meaning the team finished second in the Northern Counties League behind champions Yorkshire. The team has progressed well this year and can look forward to a successful 2022 season.
