NGM kicks off in May 2016 with the aim of encouraging 100,000’s of the non-golfing public to try golf during May and experience for themselves our social, fun, healthy and relaxing game. This is a unique opportunity to reverse the decline and start creating growth from all sectors of the public.  Bauer Media, SKY Sports / SKY Sports News and TalkSport are committed to the event, and both Paul McGinley and Ian Poulter are official supporters of NGM 2016.

Be a part of National Golf Month May 2016

NGM would like your help to create hundreds of unique golfing experiences for lapsed and new golfers across the UK. They're asking you to put together deals for all levels of ability; taster sessions for beginners, coaching for those looking to progress and experiences for all age groups. A special focus on programmes for ladies and families would be a real positive, as these are the main target market.

NGM Launch

The Houses of Parliament will launch May’s National Golf Month with a chipping/putting competition in the Palace of Westminster for MPs, Peers and schoolchildren. The launch, taking place on 27th April, will take in eight other iconic locations in London to promote golf and the importance of the sport to the UK’s health and economy.

Operated through Parliament’s All-Party Group for Golf, the official body responsible for “promoting the sport of golf”, the day will also provide the opportunity for MPs to learn more about the sport in their constituencies from the likes of The R&A and the golf unions from England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland (which includes Northern Ireland).
