Our first friendly against another county and chance to blood a couple of pairings.
Am and Pm wins for Flanagan & Self, Parry & Godley, Matthews & Gray, Owens & Darlington.
Weather was fantastic, course , facilities and catering were all excellent and a massive thank you to all involved at Ashton & Lea G.C.
Also thanks to Lancs. Secretary Phil who helped enormously in sorting the venue and catering out for me.
Hope this is the first of many wins this season and with such a strong squad and great team spirit we should do well this season.
Also thanks to Stephen Matthews who made the speech on my behalf.
