The Red Rose Seniors extend their unbeaten run to 20. After a fairly close morning series at an usually benign Royal Lytham, the team really upped their game after lunch with several 5,6,7 & 8 under par better ball scores to totally dominate our visitors from Cheshire. One individual worth mentioning, Tony Flannagan, he succeeded in hitting his Captain with a full 3 wood on the 6th and then proceded to nearly take out one of his own team mates when he drove the 13th green! Luckilly no punishment was forthcoming as he holed his putt for an eagle.
On wards to our main challenge, Yorkshire away in July.
